Get distracted seeing yourself on video? You can conceal your image from yourself, even as others continue to see you perfectly fine during Zoom meetings.

Once you’re in Gallery view (the Brady Bunch screen) during a meeting, follow these steps if you’re on a PC or Mac:

This option isn’t available on a mobile device. You can only hide your video altogether using the Stop Video button in Gallery View. However, that hides you from everyone else, too, defeating the point of letting other participants see you while you hide from yourself.

  • Find your image on the gallery screen.
  • Right-click your image to show a small pop-up menu.
  • Click Hide Self View.

How to Show Yourself on Zoom Again

If you want to show yourself again, follow these steps:

  • Hover your mouse anywhere over the meeting window.
