How to Play in Third-Person Mode in Modern Warfare 2
Third-Person mode will not be available in all the game modes like Campaign or Quickplay. It will be on a separate mode altogether called the 3rd-Person Moshpit. Here, every player will have a third-person view to avoid an unfair advantage. One thing to keep in mind while playing the third-person mode is that the ADS will only switch to first-person if the scope is 4x or higher. You will have a wider view of the area with the ability to peek at corners without exposing yourself. Infinity Ward has also added the option to adjust the FOV slider in Modern Warfare 2.
How to Change the 3rd-Person FOV Slider
- Click on the Options button in Main Menu
- Go to the Graphics section
- As you scroll down in the ‘View’ section, you will come across the ‘3rd-Person Field of View’ slider
- Adjust it according to your preference
The default setting will be 80 but you can max it up to 90 so you will have a wider FOV. Many players reported that they are enjoying the third-person mode in COD MW2.
