This article explains how to receive phone calls in the web version of Gmail using Google Voice. All steps are the same for every browser.

- First, install the Google Video Support plugin and make at least one call in Gmail by selecting Phone > Make Call.Go to Google Voice and select Settings > Calls and turn on Web under My Devices.When Gmail rings and presents an Incoming call alert, select the green phone to answer.
How to Receive Phone Calls in Gmail
To receive phone calls through Google Voice in Gmail:
- Download and install the Google Video Support plugin.
- Make at least one phone call from Gmail. To do so, open Gmail in your browser and select the phone icon in the bottom-left corner, then select Make a call.
- Open Google Voice in your browser and select the gear in the top-right corner to open the Settings.
- Select Calls on the left side.
- Under My devices, make sure Web is turned on.
- The next time somebody calls your Google Voice number, Gmail will ring and present an Incoming call alert. Select the green phone to answer.
