How to Hide your Helmet in New World?
Follow these steps to remove your Headgear in New World.
- Open up your inventory in the game by pressing TAB on your keyboard.
- Click on the Headgear icon at the very top on the left side of the screen.
- Click on Change skin.
- You will see the Select Skin window.
- Scroll down to see the Hide Headgear option.
- Click on it and Confirm.

And that’s it. As you can see, it’s a pretty simple process but it can be a bit confusing since the option to remove helmet is not present front and center. Players can always follow the aforementioned process to bring back your headgear or change it to something else. But until you decide that, you can play the game with your head of hair (or no hair) on full display.
