On Windows 10, many users have been reporting that the Night light feature appears grayed out in the Settings app making it impossible to enable and configure, but there is a quick a fix for it.

Night light is a new feature that has been introduced on Windows 10 starting with the Creators Update to reduce eye strain. Similar to Night Shift from Apple and Android’s Night mode, Night light reduces the blue light emitted by the display to help your eyes not to get fatigued when working long hours at night and improve sleep quality.

In this guide, you’ll learn the steps to fix Night light on the Windows 10 Creators update or later, when the option appears grayed out in the Settings app.
