Picture this. You’re fighting an intense battle, and things are getting out of hand real quick. You realize that the current weapon you’re using is just not good enough, and you find the need to swap or switch to another weapon, but alas, you don’t know how to do so. You then keep spamming random buttons hoping your choice of weapon will appear, but it never does. A few seconds later, you find yourself getting knocked to the ground, having lost what could have been an important moment in the game. Instantly, you find yourself regretting not having read this guide. That’s because this guide has all you need to know about swapping and switching weapons in Dying Light 2.
How to Swap Weapons in Dying Light 2 – Weapon Switch Guide
In order to swap weapons in Dying Light 2, you first need to assign weapons to the Weapon Wheel. To do so, head to Inventory and then click Weapons. From here, go to Assign Multiple Weapons to the Weapon Wheel. You can assign a maximum of 4 weapons at a time.
Once you do so, you need to hold the Right button on your PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch devices to bring up the Weapons Wheel at any given time in Dying Light 2.
Alternatively, you can also manually switch weapons by going to the Inventory. Once here, go to Click Weapons. Next, click on an unequipped weapon from the Inventory and assign it to the Weapon Wheel. Doing so will equip this weapon to your Weapon Wheel. The only drawback to this method is the fact that you can only work when you click on an unassigned weapon to assign it to your weapon slots.
And that’s it. Following these simple steps will help you quickly swap and switch weapons when playing Dying Light 2. As you can see, doing so is extremely easy, and it does not take much time. We recommend you stick to the first method (the one including the Weapon Wheel) to switch between your weapons.
