Apex Legends the free-to-play battle royale game is going to held an International Tournament where players can grab price over $3 Million. How to participate in Apex Legends International Tournament?
Visit Battlefy.com to register for Apex Legends Global Series. Registration for Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) starts from December 17, 2020 and registration for Apex Legends Online Tournament starts on January 11, 2020. For both you have to signup at Battlefy.com and connect your EA account. Register to form a squad of three players.
When Apex Legends International Tournament Starts?
ALGS is divided into four sections Major 1, Major 2, Major 3 and Championship. Players will start with Online Tournaments, where a squad will have to compete to qualify for live events and earn Global Series Points. Next there will be Challenge Events for local talent, the winners will fight in Major series. Premier Events will allow best teams from different region to fight for additional points.
At least 160 teams will participate in each online tournament, a single elimination competition with three matches per round. On the basis of points through placement and skills winning team will progress ahead. Final 20 teams will be selected for online tournaments where they will take part in the final five matches. Top teams of each region will quality to participate in Live Events where they will be paid t travel.

ALGS Major Events:
- Online Tournaments: Entry point into the Apex Legends Global Series. Earn Apex Legends Global Series Points and qualify for live events, online tournaments powered by Battlefy.
- Challenger Events: Regional competitions for local talents, winners will reserve their spot directly in Major.
- Premier Events: Global live where op online competitors from each global region compete. Winners will unlock Apex Legends Global Series Points and advanced placement invitations to Majors. Sponsored and operated by PGL and GLL.
- Majors: Flagship EA live events, best team from the world will fight for the largest prize pools throughout the year.
ALGS Tournament Schedule:
- January 25 and 27, 2020: Online Tournament – Qualifying for Major #1
- February 29 and March 2, 2020: Online Tournament – Qualifying for Premier Event #1
- March 13-15, 2020: Major #1 – Esports Stadium, Arlington, TX, USA ($500,000 prize pool)

There will be four Majors during the Apex Legends Global Series. The first three Majors will feature 300 players (100 three-player teams) competing for a $500k prize pool. The fourth Major is the Apex Legends Global Series Championship, where only the top 60 Global Series teams are invited to compete for a prize pool of $1 million.
Each Major will culminate with Finals incorporating the innovative Apex Legends Match Point system, first revealed at the Apex Legends Preseason Invitational in Poland earlier this year. In the Match Point system, teams must reach a predetermined Points threshold to activate Match Point. The tournament ends when a team that has activated Match Point wins a match and becomes the Apex Legends Champions.
What is the minimum Age to participate in Apex Legends International Tournament?
- Competitors from Russian Federation and South Korea – at least 18 years old.
- Competitors from Japan – at least 17 years old.
- All other Competitors – at least 16 years old.
Yes, and it varies by country, players will be required to certify that they are at least the age required to compete, and may be required to provide proof of age if requested by a Tournament Official. Also, for Live Events competitors under the age of majority in their territory of residence will need to have a parent or legal guardian accompany them to the event.
