Taking screenshot of web pages can be a tedious task especially for people who do not know much about browser plugins. Many people simply use the Printsc button of the keyboard and then paste the image on MSpaint. Then crop that image and finally save it in a format such as jpg, jpeg and png. However, there are many awesome plugins that let you take perfect high quality screenshots not only of the visible area of screen but also the entire website page.  Here is how you can take screenshot of web pages in Firefox.

  • Open your Firefox browser
  • On the upper left, click on “Firefox”  and click on “Add-ons”
  • Now on the search box on the top right corner, search for “ Fireshot “ or simply download here Get Fireshot for Firefox
  • Now restart Firefox and you will see the fireshot icon at the top left corner of the browser.
  • Click on the icon to take the screenshot of entire webpage. If you want other options then simply right click on the icon.

I use the fireshot plugin because I find it very stable and you can even edit your captured image and save it in different formats including PDF.  However, there are numerous other screenshot apps you can search and install for your browser.

The Fireshot plugin is available for all browsers -Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Seamonkey and Thunderbird.
